Really? Well, with CBS in control of the Star Trek properties it stands a much better chance than another cable network like NBC who would probably have just put it on the SyFy network.

David Foster wants to produce a new series, Only if CBS is willing to provide him support in the future. Although he said its a little early at the moment but he estimated around 2016 at the least.
