Being a general purpose linux box - but I have a considerably more powerful Genesi Smarttop which I use for my Linuxing needs so it didn't find a place. I had intended it to be a backup VPN end point, backup SSH tunnel etc but I put those roles on my Windows 8 "server" and didn't really need it. It's there for when I want to try something :) They've been out in the UK for months so it's been dormant for nearly a year.

No, sadly not. There was big hope that the Smarttop would get refreshed with the new MX535 chip (if you google enough you'll find me asking when it was due as I decided to buy a few days after it was announced) but it never materialised. Now the MX515 shows some age and as it struggles with 1080p it has all but ceased production.

UK bound, NewIT do a great range of products but no Genesi gear currently. http://www.newit.co.uk/shop/categories.php I have no idea who is worth dealing with US bound.

Was not using it so I broke down and put the OpenELEC Mediacenter disc image on it.
It works well with a powered external usb drive.

I think I want the SolidRun HummingBoard-i2eX
