I can now certainly understand why people associate Trekkies with losers.

Yeah seems a little extreme to me.

I suppose that its all about immersion. For a home theater though, I'd steer clear of anything that focuses on a particular theme. I'd be more interested in what is on the screen, sound quality and all the usual comforts etc.

I guess its the same as anything really. Some people who are very religious seem to litter their homes with crucifixes and other things. Some people really, really like cats and surround themselves with that.

It doesn't even look authentic. If you want to be an ultra nerd that burns in the sunlight at least do it properly.

Plus as a home cinema all the decor is kind of distracting. Huge fail right here.
