I been playing the early 48 hour beta on the 27th. It's fantastic! this will beat MW3 no doubt about it. I think the majority people who been playing COD for the past few years, have had enough. I feel its rather dull and boring now. I am glad this will be timed exclusive to PS3 :P

I am certainly lookin forward to playing this when i have the time.

Unless they changed something call of duty is supposed to be releasing the final version of there series the same time BF3 is supposed to be coming out as well.

Battlefield 3 will not be the last. I just think COD new games every year is getting boring, not to mention when they use the same bloody game engines lol. MW3 is using the same game engine from MW2 and BF3 has moved on to a new complete game engine with destruction :twisted:

I'll skip MW3 this year because i've had enough. You do get fed up when 1 after another is the same over and over again.

Yeah i guess when something works you stick with it as far as gaming engines go. However im going to see what happens and most likely get either the best of the 2 or possibly both games as first person shooters seems to be something i enjoy greatly.

Not just the game engine. I'm just sick & tired playing the same game franchise over and over again. I want a new change for once, something completely differenty from COD and that's Battlefield.

As far as i know, EA signed a contract with Sony and Activision signed with Microsoft. These two are trying to compete and getting our money :twisted:

Mhmm. Call of Duty can be fun, but it's a much worse game than people realise. The biggest reason people play it is because almost everything is intentionally engineered to addict the audience. Scoring system, perks, weapon unlocks, classes - it's all been designed for that one reason. It was never made to be a good game, its focus was on fooling people into believing it was a good game.

Battlefield is fantastic though. It's one of those games I enjoy playing because you can just muck around blowing shit up, and usually end up with a couple teammates joining you.

BF3 Beta is pretty epic.

Pretty awesome when your a machine gunner and your cover is just blasted away from you by an RPG and you have to rush to new cover! :mrgreen:
