I will state with absolute conviction that I will never pay money for this game. It comes at no surprise that a tie-in is rushed, but this one is atrociously bad to the point of hilarity.

10 pages of users failing to connect online (it doesn't even make a connection to chance a time-out). Developer in the thread posts "Works fine for me. Games uses Steam Servers" which is a complete deflection of the issue.

Insult to injury; Namco understates the severity of their game's broken nature.

Clearly, the small minority here is actually the whole of the PC community.

I decided to get it on ps3. Sadly, there's only a few people on coop and I guess it's just only because it's just out. As for PCs, they are getting shafted yet again not only they lied, but the fact still remains it's hurting the brand ''Star Trek'' and that can be really humiliating for the fans.

If they rushed this? They should of at least thought about the reputation of Star Trek is at stake. Then again, they don't give a fck because is all about the money.

Let's see if they will admit it's their fault and not some random excuse bullshit.

Only a handful of miscreants = everyone with a computer who isn't a developer

If Co-Op is what people are into I can understand they are unhappy.
But since I'm more of an offline/singleplayer guy I am quite enjoying the game.

Only real gripe I have is the dodgyness of the spock/kirk AI in singleplayer mode.

Also feel its a bit of a missed opportunity, as it would have been cool being able to swap between the two characters in mid-game when playing alone.

That would of been interesting.

Indeed. That would have made it even better as there are times when I feel that the AI completely wastes away until you tell it what to do or completely stands there dumbfounded.

Also, I am enjoying the game but it just seems so.. unfinished. They held it back from release as the movie came out and some other reason I dont know. Surely in that time they could have figured out how to fix the bugs right ? Nope. They sat on their hands. Probably due to some contract issue ? Oh well. Its not bad but clearly, they missed out on what surely could have been a great release.

That's a preference, either way. But bear in mind that the game has been marketed as and I quote verbatim "the ultimate co-op experience". We should all be disappointed.

I'm trying to enjoy it, but it's very repetitive and borrowed already. Co-op would have at least made it a social experience, no AI issue with the other half, and the bugs would be points of comedy and not merely an irritating aspect.

I'm stuck at the shuttle-bay on Frontier Station it seems. The bit where Spock is like "one shot is all we may need". I have no idea what to do. Anyone past that?
