I justified Legacy as good because its modded potential far exceeds its standard form and on a console it was quite fun.

This edit time limit is really getting on my nerves...anyway. I have found this article and it explains a lot. This is from gamespy.com...which is not the same as gamespy tech......whatever, just read it and it makes sense.

I think gamespy tech is full of crap.
So maybe various companies did not pay there bills, but this is going to hurt GameSpy tech more than it will hurt Microsoft, LucasArts and other companies.
It will make people think twice before buying a a game that is "Powered By GameSpy", and if/when that happens developers will most likely stop using GameSpy alltogether which could ultimately spell the end of GameSpy Tech.

I don't think any developers still uses gamespy or has for years. Id be curious (but not enough to check) to see if they finally developed a win 7 friendly version of their launcher.
Thank you,
