Hope this will have multiplayer, because I'm dying to sink my teeth into some real starship action again.

They said they wouldn't put multiplayer in for the mean time. If they did, it will delay the game even longer and that was said by the lead project Mark. They been at this game since 2008....I am proud of these young talented people with such limited resources.
The multiplayer will be added as expansion in the future. That's what its saying on the forums.

I had totally forgotten about Excalibur. What I don't understand is why they are focusing on a single player campaign when I think it's rather obvious that everyone wants a "Bridge Commander 2 multiplayer." Of course, that is not to say their work isn't appreciated.Kelbie wrote:They said they wouldn't put multiplayer in for the mean time. They just want to focus on the main plot of the game and get it released when it's time. However, they did say we mod the game and add ships. Just pop over their forums and you will see what's being done and what not.

Actually mate the majority of BC fans were and are more into singleplayer than multiplayer.Janeway wrote:I had totally forgotten about Excalibur. I actually played through and enjoyed the original BC singleplayer.

Re: Excalibur coming along nicely.
BC's single player mode was fun. I only tried the online play a few times but I hate game spy.

Re: Excalibur coming along nicely.
Worst part about gamespy is that its only been running on life support for the last few years, and isnt fully compatible with Windows Vista/7 systems.
Actually do feel tempted to play some BC again, allthough it kind of sucks that it has no widescreen support, or that nobody as of yet has managed to "mod in" proper working widescreen resolutions.
Latest iteration of KM has 1080p support, but its highly unstable, streached and the camera does not work properly.
