Chain of Command






I. PREAMBLE

Operations (hereinafter referred to as 'Operations') is formed by Article II of the Constitution of FEDERATION COMMAND with the purpose of providing a stable gaming community within FEDERATION COMMAND. This Charter is designed to outline the role and structure of Operations policies and procedures as lawfully promulgated.

II. COMMAND

Operations will be commanded by Operations Command (OC) which consists of a Commanding Officer and Executive Officer respectively.

III. ROLE

Operations will be responsible for the behind-the-scenes operation of FEDERATION COMMAND and comprises of a number of Departments which will provide the stable running of FEDERATION COMMAND.

IV. DEPARTMENTS

The below listed departments shall fall under the jurisdiction of Operations, and may not be altered under any circumstances:

1. Department of Security
2. Department of Diplomacy
3. Department of Propaganda
4. Department of Engineering

Additional departments may be created, however the first four aforementioned departments may not be altered.


V. CHARTERS

Operations shall ensure each department has an approved Charter. Charter creation or changes will have to be submitted to Operations to verify against existing Charters and the Constitution and other Policy. Operations will submit all Charters to Council of Admirals. Approved Charters by the Council of Admirals are added as an appendix to the Operations Charter.

VI. ROLES AND POWERS
CHIEF OF OPERATIONS (Commanding Officer)

1. Power to modify the duty rosters of all departments under his jurisdiction;
2. Power to demote and promote up to and including the rank of Operations Admiral;
3. Power to award officers;
4. Power to order reports from those departments under his jurisdiction.

DEPUTY CHIEF OF OPERATIONS (Executive Officer)

1. Power to modify the duty rosters of all departments under his jurisdiction;
2. Power to award officers;
3. Power to order reports from those departments under his jurisdiction.
