Curiosity, the third rover has just successfully landed on Mars.

Absolutely amazing. Watched the whole thing live. NASA had a lot riding on this. It's a big success, and a very important step towards landing men on mars. This was additionally important due to the new landing technology they were testing, which worked perfectly. Well done USA!
