Greetings everyone,
The holiday season is in full swing!
Every year around this time, we turn the Fleet off for a few weeks so that our members can spend times with their friends and family.
I would like to wish each of our valued members, vistors, and esteemed diplomats a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Very Good New Years!
Officially we will be on Blue Alert from 18 December 2014 to 6 January 2015, and unofficially, some of us will still be here to "hold down the fort."
As always, "Don't drink and drive because you might hit a bump and spill your drink." - Picard

Let us have our night of fun and laughter,
Let the gifts of Father Christmas delight our play.
Let us share to the full in our unstinted pleasures,
Before we turn again to the stern task of this glorious Fleet,
And the formidable years that lie before us.
Resolved that, by our sacrifice and daring,
We shall never be robbed of our glorious inheritance
Or denied our right to live in a free and decent world.
And so all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, my fellow officers!

I shall go on the standard Holiday leave of absence. So that's reducing my activity from very high to just high.
