Re: Scotish Referendum

I always thought the vestiges of the british empire would have the decency to wait until the old lady karked it before they started scattering like dogshit in a lit paper bag. That her formerly-imperial majesty might live to see the first act is magnificently decadent. Though, if the vote truly is n...

Re: Star Citizen Constellation trailer

I have pledged for the game and play arena commander from time to time. Think it will be another couple of years before the game is released, and about 5 or so years before it is polished. But I think it is the best space sim ever created, and am really keen to play it with an oculus rift.

Re: Chivas Regal

Chivas Regal is my "mixing" Whisky - for ginger ale, or soda water (never cola). It's a blend but it is made in Speyside and is well aged. Very smooth and a nice warming taste. Despite my like of Johnnie Walker Black, I am currently enjoying a glass of Chivas Regal with a dollop of water....

Re: Patrick Stewart does the ice bucket challenge

Johnnie Walker Black is fucking glorious. Sure be insubordinate. Hack the website. Steal our copyright. Slander the fitfulness of the founders or leaders of this Fleet. But do not ever insult Johnnie Walker Black. I will smack you so hard your ancestors will feel it. Those there hurtful comments of ...

Re: Patrick Stewart does the ice bucket challenge

The only whisky I have experimented varying the water/ice content with is Johnnie Walker Black. While it does not add much to the flavour, it does make it last a little longer, which is a good thing when trying to enjoy the bottle. I suspect single malts respond better to a splash of water than thei...

Johnnie Walker Black remains my staple blended whisky. Sorry Captain Picard.
